Our First Christmas Tree

Aaron and I have finally bought our first Christmas tree! We had been using one that I brought into our marriage, but now we have our own. See:

My husband loves me!

I am so grateful to have a husband who loves me so much. After I yelled at him for a half hour because I wasn't feeling well, he turned off his video game to put me to sleep. On the living room floor, at 4:30 pm. Boy, I needed to sleep badly. He held me the whole 3 hours that I slept, on the living room floor. Did I mention I was really tired?

Then, after I woke up, moved to the bedroom, and fell asleep, he didn't step on me. (Yes, I was on the bedroom floor. Really Really Tired.) He made sure that I was okay, and changed into my PJ's. Tucked me in, sort of, and made sure that the heat was turned on in the bedroom. He is so sweet.

Fall

Don't you just love fall?
Where I'm at it is so beautiful.
Driving home yesterday, I drove though a waterfall of leaves, sprialing downward.

My last 3 weeks.

Okay,
So I haven’t written for a month, well here is why.
October 2nd, I had my wisdom teeth out.
October 5th -12th I packed boxes in my tiny apartment.
On Oct 7th, I injured my right foot. Massive pain when walking/standing on it without my brace.
On the 12th I started to move into an apartment closer to work, and Aaron’s school.
On Oct 14th, Aarons sister, sister’s husband and one of their children, came to help move the big stuff…just 2 days after we got the keys to the new place….remember tiny apartment….still working full time….
The 17th, we got the last bit of stuff and cleaned. Thank You Cheryl! My MIL came and cleaned. She came, and I left to go to the New Apartment in Canton. Where I promptly sat down and did very little the rest of the day.
Sunday the 18th, I stayed in bed all day too.
Monday, I went to Dr. Stone. I had Strep, the Flu, and the beginnings of Pneumonia and bronchitis. So I stayed in bed Tuesday too.
So after missing 2 days of work, I came back to find 111 emails, and a buried desk. Apparently, it was “chaos” with me gone.
So, by Friday, I had cleared my desk, but that is why I did nothing to unpack all week. So here it is on Saturday.
I have most of my dishes put away (thank you Aaron). Our computer desk is up and running (again, thank you Aaron). I have room to walk in our apartment, even though our living room still has boxes to unpack and put away. I never thought that I would move and still be in boxes a week later.
Thank goodness for MIL, Husbands, Foot braces, antibiotics, Families-in-Law, and Benadryl.

Aaron

I love my husband. He is the calming influence I need.
We all know how keyed up I can become. Last week I missed Wednesday at work because of a flat tire and a re-injury to my knee while trying to fix it (My knee is okay now). So Thursday was crazy at work. I had so much to catch up on. I had to leave early because of an Oral surgery appointment. I was so stressed and tense you could actually see it. All Aaron had to do was hold my hand to cause an instant relaxing feeling to come over me. When he had to let it go, the tension and stress came right back. But for those blissful moments, I had peace in my heart.
I love coming home to Aaron. He lets me vent in a safe secure environment. I was honking at this guy who was trying to back into me, and when I got home, Aaron let me vent all the fear and pent up frustration.
He holds me while I cried all of my day out of my system. Even if it is just PMS. I am so grateful for his support.

Superstar

My work has a recognition program. Fellow Associates get to nominate each other for recognition.
I was recognized this for this bi-week award with 4 other associates. The person who recognized me surprised me. I didn’t even think she liked me, let alone who write:
“Bobbi has sought to learn all the aspects of Laser Room operations. Whenever someone is out, she steps up to fill the gap and still does her own job as well. She never complains and consistently has a smile on her face.”
I guess people can surprise you.

Worst Week Ever.

It all started Friday, July 31st. I fell down my MIL front steps and bruised up my knee.
Saturday, August 1st, I miss stepped and tweaked my other knee.
Sunday, August 2nd, I was so sick, I slept most of the day.
Monday, August 3rd, I lost a Diamond out of my Engagement Ring. They sent me home because I was crying so hard.
Tuesday, August 4th, I had to give a tour of our warehouse. I walked around too much and my knees were killing me by the time I got home.
Wednesday, August 5th, I got my allergy shot, even though I wasn’t feeling well that day. It made me throw up a couple of times.
Thursday, August 6th, I lost a CZ out of another ring. One of my co-workers was out sick, so I ended up doing her job and mine. I got to leave an hour early from work though! I was so tired that night I was zonked out by 8pm.

Just was not my 7 days. The next 7 are already looking better!

Sorry it has been so long!

I am alive! I promise. I have just been busy or not feeling well. Aaron is prefect, as usual. (He had a sore tummy last night, but it only lasted a few hours, lucky duck.)
We have been released as Primary Teachers (mixed emotions). We were released so they could give us new callings. We are the "Single Young Adult Couple for Massillon" (what a mouth full). Basically, we go to fun activities for free. Hang out with a bunch of people, and have fun. Not too shabby, huh.
More to come later.

We are back!

We are back from house sitting! It’s good to be home again. I got YoYo (see previous post) a hair cut while we were gone! Can you believe it’s the same dog? I promise it is.

House sitting.

Sometimes it seems like Aaron and I house sit all the time. My MIL has six kids and loves to go see them. Unfortunately she has a dog named YoYo.
Which is fine, until she goes away. Then it’s Aaron and Bobbi to the rescue.
Which is also fine, until I have to go to work. What is nice, is that work is closer for Aaron. For me, lets just add 30 minutes to my commute. Dodging Amish buggies half the way. What are they doing at 6 am on the road?
Other than that, Aaron and I enjoy our trips to Apple Creek. We take long walks, spread out, and have friends over to play games (our apt is small). BJ loves it too! He gets to run around, and hid in all sorts of places. Our 22 lbs cat loves to boss around the 20 lbs YoYo. YoYo just loves BJ. He is wise enough to be scared of BJ though. BJ would eat YoYo alive, if YoYo gave BJ cause.

Love

I am very loved.
I have a husband that cares for my very gently. He supports me when I'm weak, and loves me through sickness after sickness. (No, I'm not pregnant!) My allergy shot make me very grumpy, and he loves me through that as well. He even takes over Sunday School when I am not feeling well.
I have a sister who is willing to slump through mud with 2 kids, to give me the chance to Sight See. She even went to Smuckers with me.
I have a Mother-In-Law who spoils me rotten. She cares for me when I'm sick too. I am very lucky to have her. She doesn't even mind it when I crash at her house all the time.
I have a Sister-In-Law that can't wait to see me. She loves hanging out and also loves to go places. I don't always agree with her, but she is a Fun, Caring, Outgoing, and Wonderful Mom.
I have an entire classroom of Sunday School Children that light up my life. They are so special. They always run up and hug me, or sit in my lap. I love the way their eyes light up when we talk about Jesus.
I am very Loved.
