No MIL

This week I have been alone in the mornings without Aaron's or my MIL help.  Which doesn't seem like much, but remember that I had a c-section about 3 weeks ago.  It was not fun, but we survived.  Collin has had a hard time adjusting, and Dylan has made life as easy as he could.  He is very even tempered, and low maintenance.
Collin is going through a mood with food, but seems to be getting better.  He wouldn't eat anything for a few days.  Not even his favorite foods.  I've been very worried about him.  He also has bronchitis again this week, so with Aaron gone in the mornings, it has been a challenge.
I am feeling about a well as can be expected with all that is going on.
Aaron has only 2 more weeks of school left, and we are excited about having him home more.

Hormones

My Hormones right now are still trying to level off.  It helps that Collin actually wanted Mommy today.  Yesterday, he didn't want anything to do with me.  Dylan is growing like a weed, and Collin is getting better with him.

Collin and first week of being Big Brother

Collin has only been a big brother for a few days, but he has been very helpful. Anytime Dylan's blanket gets skewed, and Dylan is partially uncovered, Collin adjusts the blanket. He tries to help out during feeding times, even though his "help" sometimes unlatches Dylan from mommy. I am going to try pumping once a day, so Collin can try to bottle feed Dylan. He really enjoyed today's feeding. He is learning to do extra helpful things around the house, like bringing mommy her water bottle, and picking up what mommy drops. I am very proud of Collin!

3 Days

I have at most 3 days left on this pregnancy.  I am going into the hospital after 8 pm. on Monday.  I am nervous, excited, and glad that Aaron will be there with me.  He is spending the first night with me, and will be there for the C-Section.
I am grateful for my MIL who will be there for my son Collin while I am in the hospital.  She will be getting him up that morning, and entertaining him until Daddy comes and gets them.  She will also be running after him for the next 3 weeks.
I told the neighbor kids to stay away the first week, because she doesn't need the extra pressure of entertaining them without Aaron or I there.  I threatened them with no play time with Collin for weeks if they came near her dog (who doesn't like children).  He wouldn't hurt them, but he doesn't need the additional stress of over zealous children, while in a strange place.  Collin knows not to pet the dog, even though he doesn't understand why.  He puts up with Collin, and is beginning to see that Collin is gentle, but no need to push our luck.
