Morning Sickness

I have had morning sickness for almost 3 weeks now.  It went away for a month, and we thought we had seen the last of it. After about 3pm, I am sick all night.  I haven't slept well either.
I failed my simple glucose test, so I have to go in for a full test tomorrow.  I am not looking forward to it.  Luckily, Aaron was able to get off, so I can leave Collin at home for the 3 hour test.  I am very grateful for Aaron's support.  I don't think I could have gotten through the last few weeks without him. I have 11 weeks left, and I am anxiously counting down the days.

Back from MaMa, YoYo and MeMe's

Collin and I just got back from MaMa (Grandma), YoYo (a dog) and MeMe's (Jamie).  We were there for a week.  Collin just came up with a name from Jamie, and he is quite proud of it.

Collin is learning so fast.  Grandma C hid the cookie jar, but he found it.  He brought it to Grandma C to open, because he is not allowed get cookies out by himself.  Apparently I need to teach him that he is not to get the cookie jar out by himself as well.  At least he asked, right?

We had lots of fun at Grandma C's. He ran around, jumped on the indoor trampoline, and climbed everything.  He has 2 bruises to show for all that fun.  At least it was just two.

Collin is now off the pacifier.  He has slept since Monday without one.  We are quite proud of him, because he just accepted the change.  Mommy had to comfort him instead, but he will be able to fall asleep by himself soon.  He refused to nap today, so he fell asleep before dinner.  He was so deeply asleep that Mommy cleaned his face and hands without him waking him up.

Mommy is very pregnant, and tired all the time.  I am very grateful for the naps that Grandma C let me have this week.  12 weeks left...

Daddy got a lot of school stuff done this week, which is part of the reason Mommy and Collin went to Grandma's.  He had some deadlines that he had to meet, and it was easier to do without Collin to distract him.

New Church Suit

Update - Mostly Collin

Okay. Time to get going with this again.  I had started working, and then I moves, and then I was unpacking... So I haven't done this in a while.
So:
Aaron and I are pregnant.  We are expecting a boy in May.

Collin is 2, and very cute.  He is learning to use words for everything, but he has to be prompted most of the time.  He says (without prompting half the time):
Up
Please
Thank You
MaMa (grandma)
Mom (me)
Aunt MarMar
Go
No
YoGo (yogurt)
Kitty
Yoyo (a dog)
Missy (another dog)
Ruff Ruff (his word for dog)
Meow (he talks to our cat)
Daddy
Stinky (I need a change)
Yum Yum (I'm hungry)
Teeth (I want to brush my teeth)
Oh No
Hot (which he immediately blows air out after saying this, trying to cool whatever it is down)
Hi
Bye
Candy
Me
Oh (he says it very seriously too.  Sometimes he even has a crinkled forehead while he says it)

He will say all the above words independently (without prompting) if it is just Daddy and me.  If anyone else is around, he needs prompting.  It just warms my heart to hear him say thank you, without any prompting. He is so cute. He has other words, but until he says them without prompting (or echoing) I'm not counting them.

He likes to draw, ride bikes, throw balls, read, and pop bubbles.  He will do any of these activities for hours on end, then stop for a couple of days. Friday he drew for no less than 3 hours, but on Saturday, only about 15 minutes.  He likes independent play, and mommy needs to get down and play with him more.  He loves nursery, always have, but he likes it even more now that Aaron and I teach his class.  He is learning to share us with others, which is good practice for having a baby brother.

He just moved up into 2T clothes, and we have to put 2 pairs of pants on him to keep them up.  His legs just get long, but his bottom is too tiny.  He was wearing his pants fine on Jan 26, but by Feb 1st, he had an inch of leg showing above his boots.  He just grew to fast, and Mommy wasn't prepared. So, on Feb 3rd, she moved him up to the new size.
